What I did Summer 2025!

This summer was full of creative work and community projects that I’m proud to share!

I participated in the 75th Louisiana Peach Festival Public Art Series and created a peach-themed design that was bright, fun, and well received.

I hosted a patchmaking workshop with the Ruston Cultural District. It was a great turnout and a meaningful way to connect through craft!

I also spent time upcycling pieces from my wardrobe. I added patches to a pair of overalls and redesigned a men’s button-up shirt. These small changes gave new life to old clothes.

One of my favorite projects was making my Sunrays. They’re inspired by the Labubu figure, but each one is my own take. Every Sunray is different and making them has been a joyful process.

I also worked with the North Louisiana Arts Interchange as assistant coordinator. Supporting this year’s cohort was a rewarding experience and a highlight of my summer.

Thanks to everyone who collaborated, showed up, or supported these projects. I’m excited to keep creating and sharing! :)
